Job Description
- We are hiring a Trainee Network Engineer at GeekyAnts.

Responsibilities:
- Network Setup and Configuration: Assist in setting up and configuring network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Learn to optimize network performance and ensure its smooth operation.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network issues under the guidance of senior engineers. Learn to analyze problems and implement effective solutions, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor network performance, security, and reliability. Assist in routine maintenance tasks and updates to ensure the network operates at peak efficiency.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with experienced network engineers and cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain functional network infrastructures that meet organizational needs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and processes. Learn to create comprehensive network documentation for future reference.
- Security Implementation: Assist in implementing and maintaining network security measures to protect data integrity and prevent unauthorized access. Learn about security protocols and best practices.
- Technical Support: Provide basic technical support to end-users. Learn to troubleshoot and assist users with network-related problems, ensuring a positive user experience.
- Learning and Development: Stay updated with the latest networking technologies, protocols, and trends. Actively participate in training sessions and self-learning initiatives to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively.
