Job Location: Bangalore (Hybrid) Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent in life sciences or related field 6-8 years of relevant work experience In-depth knowledge of clinical research and the drug development process
Thorough knowledge of medical dictionaries i.e.,
Medical Dictionary for Regulatory Activities (MedDRA) and World Health Organization Drug Dictionary (WHO DD) and ability to suggest applicable dictionaries for project
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to solve moderate to complex problems
Ability to provide quality work and consistency Strong ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects
Ability to lead and coordinate small teams

Responsibilities
Leads study setup by managing the preparation of test data, validation of the coding tool and error log review.
Assists clinical data management team in meeting timelines of deliverables and milestones per client expectation.
Leads the planning and management of coding tasks across projects.
Coordinates the assignment of appropriate dictionaries for meeting study requirements. Develops and maintains coding guidelines.
Assists in monitoring quality of deliverables across projects as per client expectation.
Sends weekly study coding status report to management. Liaises with project leads and performs medical
coding. Plans and manages coding tasks across projects. Trains and mentors new or junior coders.
Participates in review of Coding Tools within EDC or standalone applications.
Participates in project management meetings.
Complies with organizational procedures and policies.
Prepares teams and participates in audits and inspections. Manages coding and resourcing requirements to meet timelines. Provides input in the development and maintenance of departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensures quality and consistency in Coding practices, processes, and procedures.
